A new version of Cydia has been released with bug fixes

Jay Freeman, aka Saurik, has released a new version of Cydia 1.1.16, in which he eliminated errors found in previous builds.

Fixed, in particular, a bug due to which on iOS 8 after restoring the device from a backup in iTunes, users had to reinstall Cydia. Also, the interval for reloading the package directory has been increased to 15 minutes – before it was reloaded every 15 seconds. Fixed other bugs as well.

You can install the updated version 1.1.16 in the “Changes” tab in Cydia. For users who are just about to jailbreak, we would like to remind that in iOS 8.1.1 the vulnerability for jailbreak is closed, and therefore you need to install the current version of iOS 8.1 and use the Pangu8 jailbreak utility. How to do this is described in our instructions. Please note that the latest version of Pangu8 installs Cydia automatically.
