Apple may equip new iPhones with 6GB of RAM

Analysts at the financial holding UBS Timothy Arcuri and Manjal Shah have shared new details about the next generation of Apple smartphones, which Apple will release in the second half of this year.

According to experts, in the fall of 2020, Cupertinos will present four new models: one with a 5.4-inch screen, one with a 6.7-inch display and two smartphones with 6.1-inch screens. In this case, all four iPhones will be equipped with OLED displays.

In addition to the screen diagonal, the new items will differ from each other in cameras and the amount of RAM. The flagship models of the 2020 iPhone lineup will feature 6GB of RAM, according to UBS analysts.

Experts claim that:

  • The 5.4-inch iPhone will get 4GB of RAM and a dual main camera.
  • The 6.1-inch iPhone will come with 4GB of RAM and dual main cameras.
  • The 6.1-inch iPhone will get 6GB of RAM and a main camera with three lenses and support for 3D scanning of space.
  • The 6.7-inch iPhone will come with 6GB of RAM and a triple rear camera with a 3D scanner.

Also, new Apple smartphones should receive support for fifth generation networks. However, as the well-known analyst Ming Chi-Kuo recently said, it will not be possible to use 5G in all regions.
