According to renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple plans to expand its iPhone lineup in the future. In particular, next year the Cupertinos should show five new smartphones.
The expert is sure that next year the Cupertinians will show their new budget apparatus. The successor to the iPhone SE will be similar in appearance to the “eight”, but in terms of performance, the new product should not far lag behind the iPhone 11. This will be possible thanks to the Apple A13 processor and 3 GB of RAM. The announcement of this device is scheduled for March 2020.
Four more new items are due to be shown in the fall. Among them will be the iPhone with 5.4 and 6.1 inches displays. The devices will belong to the conditionally middle segment and have good performance, as well as a main camera with two lenses.
Two more smartphones with screens 6.1 and 6.7 inches will receive no less productive stuffing, but they will have a main camera with three lenses and a ToF module.
Ming-Chi Kuo also spoke about Apple’s far-reaching plans. In particular, the analyst noted that in 2021 the Cupertinians will show the iPhone SE2 Plus with a 5.5 or 6.1-inch screen and a Touch ID scanner built into the power button. In the fall of the same year, Apple may announce the first iPhone without Lightning. Charging and syncing will be done wirelessly.
