Last Sunday there was an event that had been waiting for so long – a utility for untethered jailbreak for iOS 7 – 7.0.4 was released, and it happened “without declaring war”, unexpectedly for both users and developers of “alternative” software. In addition, the pirated TaiG app store was built into the jailbreak, which caused a strong negative reaction from the jailbreak community.
The rush to release evasi0n7 was not in vain – many users complained about the incorrect operation of the utility. A few days ago, hackers from Evad3rs updated evasi0n7, fixing the bugs they noticed and removing the TaiG store from the jailbreak. In addition, and this is important, the new version adds support for the upcoming updated MobileSubstrate. But what about those users who made jail using the very first version? Really repeat the jailbreak procedure again?
Fortunately, no. Cydia has updated the Evasi0n 7.x Untether package to version 0.2, which adds all the necessary components to the first version of the jailbreak and fixes errors. In addition, the update removes the TaiG pirate store. The updated Evasi0n 7.x Untether 0.2 package is available on Cydia in the Telesphoreo repository.
