While some hackers are breaking into iOS 11.3 and iOS 11.4, others are already testing the “strength” of the new Apple mobile operating system. And they do it quite successfully. Recently, hacker Liang Chen from KeenLab posted a video on the network in which he showed the installation of a jailbreak on the iPhone X, which is running the beta version of iOS 12.
Judging by the video, Chen already has an application ready to jailbreak Apple’s new mobile operating system. The hacking process itself does not take much time and is done literally by pressing one button. After that, the device reboots, and the Cydia icon appears on one of the screens.
It is currently unknown if Chen plans to share with someone about the vulnerability that allowed jailbreak iOS 12. It also remains a mystery whether he will release public tools to jailbreak the final version of the new Apple mobile operating system.
However, such videos prove that despite all Apple’s efforts, there are still quite a lot of vulnerabilities in iOS that can help make at least a semi-tethered jailbreak.
