Today, hackers from the unc0ver team talked about the imminent completion of work on a new tool for jailbreaking Apple mobile devices running iOS 13.5. According to reports, the updated jailbreak is based on a vulnerability found by the developer Pwn20wnd.
The exact release date of the utility is still unknown. However, the microblog unc0ver indicates that the release will take place in the very near future. An indicator on the official website of the hacker team also “informs” about the imminent release of the utility. Judging by the progress bar, the iOS 13.5 jailbreak is over 90% complete.
Separately, hackers note that with the help of their new tool, users will be able to hack all devices running iOS 13.5, including the iPhone 11, iPhone SE and iPad Pro 2020. At the same time, the application should be released on the three main desktop platforms – Windows, macOS and Linux.
Currently existing utilities do not differ in similar capabilities. In particular, Checkra1n jailbreak is not compatible with the latest Apple smartphones and tablets, and is also limited to iOS 13.4.1. Besides Checkra1n never released a Windows version of their tool.
