The Apple online store and Apple retail stores in the United States now offer the new 23.7-inch LG UltraFine 4K display, which replaces the previously available LG 4K and 5K displays.

Priced at $ 700, the new display was discovered yesterday at an Apple retail store, and today appeared online.

Apple began offering 4K and 5K LG UltraFine displays along with the 2016 MacBook Pro, but has since stopped selling both original models.

The new 23.7-inch display has a resolution of 3840 x 2160, which is lower than the resolution of 4096 x 2304 of the previous 21.5-inch LG 4K display from 21.5-inch, but is still considered an Ultra HD resolution.

As for the design, the updated LG UltraFine 4K display is very similar to previous 4K and 5K models with a simple black plastic case. It has a wide P3 color range for bright, realistic colors and a brightness of 500 nits.

It connects to a Mac with a single Thunderbolt 3 cable, providing charging power for laptops up to 85 watts. There are two ports of Thunderbolt 3, which is better than previous models.

With two ports of Thunderbolt 3 it is possible to connect other Thunderbolt 3 accessories (or a second display) in series via one connection. There are also three USB-C ports and built-in stereo speakers.

The new display is available today at the Apple online store and in many Apple retail stores throughout the United States.
