Tonight, a developer known as Pwn20wnd, in one of the threads on the Reddit forum, announced the imminent release of a new version of the jailbreak utility unc0ver, which will allow jailbreaking iOS 12.
At the moment, work on the utility is already ongoing. However, the developer promises that some users will be able to test the beta version of the hack application.
While Pwn20wnd hasn’t revealed all the details yet, it has revealed that the iOS 12 jailbreak will have several limitations. Firstly, it will not support the latest Apple smartphones and tablets (iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr, iPad Pro 2018). Secondly, the utility will allow you to jailbreak devices that run iOS 12.1.3 or lower. Third, to install Cydia, users will need to say “Hey Siri Install Cydia”.
As mentioned above, while Pwn20wnd is not yet ready to name even a preliminary release date for the new beta version of unc0ver.
