At the end of September, it became known that hackers are actively working on hacking iOS 8.4.1. At the same time, an Italian developer named Luca Todesco said that everything needed to create a jailbreak had already been found. It remains to finish the work on the utility.
The developers did not name the exact release date of the iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak. However, judging by the latest data, there is some progress. According to Luca Todesco’s microblog, the hackers managed to hack the device. However, they faced a number of problems.
For example, when installing an extension called Patcyh, the smartphone “froze” and stopped responding to any commands. Most of the tweaks available in Cydia lead to similar results, so now hackers are working on a solution to the problem.
It is assumed that the jailbreak will be released immediately after fixing all the problems.
