The Japanese resource MacOtakara received at its disposal several mock-ups of new Apple smartphones, which Apple is to show as part of the September presentation. Also, the authors of the publication compared the layouts with the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro.
In the video, MacOtakara shows three different plastic blanks. Apparently, they are 3D printed. At the same time, the locations of the buttons are clearly visible on the layouts, as well as the shape of the screen and the appearance of the main camera of the device.
In total, three models with diagonals of 5.3 (5.4), 5.9 and 6.4 inches can be seen in the video. It is noteworthy that until recently, the network actively discussed the 6.7-inch iPhone, which will replace the iPhone 11 Pro Max. However, the authors of MacOtakara assure that the diagonal of the largest Apple smartphone in 2020 will be 6.4 inches.
Compared to existing models, the iPhone 12’s layouts are roughly the same thickness. However, they are noticeably smaller than the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro in height. On the basis of which leaks the layouts were created, the authors of MacOtakara do not specify.
