Analysts at Barclays have shared a new forecast for the next generation of Apple smartphones. According to experts, the Cupertinians will equip the iPhone 12 with an improved TrueDepth camera and slightly modify Face ID.
Analysts have not disclosed how Apple will tweak the face recognition system and specifically the TrueDepth camera. However, they note that the improvements should be large enough. Most likely, Apple engineers will work on the layout of the components and replace the sensors with more advanced ones. It is possible that all this will lead to the fact that the cutout in the iPhone screen is somewhat reduced in size. This assumption looks good against the background of rumors about Apple’s desire to update the appearance of its smartphones.
Barclays also confirmed that the flagship iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be equipped with a 3D sensor that will be used to scan space and enhance portraits.
It should be noted that in the past, experts of the analytical company Barclays have repeatedly shared reliable forecasts. Moreover, they often published accurate data several months before the official presentation of new products.
