TaiG’s iOS 8.4 jailbreak utility is popular despite its shortcomings. One such drawback is the lack of a Mac version.
If you wish, of course, you can jailbreak iOS 8.4 on a Mac – using Windows installed via Boot Camp or in a virtual machine. However, it would still be better if there was a full-fledged utility for Apple computers.
This simple thesis was adopted by TaiG’s competitors – hackers from 25PP. They released a Mac version of their very own PP Jailbreak, which is available here. In fact, this is a variation of the same TaiG, which, by the way, the hackers from TaiG are very unhappy with. But the 25PP team does not mind the dissatisfaction of competitors. And we, users, practically do not care who developed the jailbreak. If only it worked fine and did not add any undocumented options to smartphones / tablets.
