Almost immediately after yesterday’s presentation by Apple, at which Cupertinians presented the updated iPad Air, Logitech announced an external keyboard with a trackpad called the Logitech Folio Touch. The latter was created specifically for the new “airy” apple tablet.
In fact, the Folio Touch is analogous to the Magic Keyboard. However, unlike the Apple accessory, the Logitech keyboard costs significantly less – $ 160 versus $ 299. At the same time, the third-party keyboard has quite comfortable keys with an average travel, backlighting and support for all the main function keys and gestures.
In addition, the Logitech Folio Touch doubles as a stand, allowing you to position your tablet in four different positions for typing, watching videos, sketching, and reading. The accessory also protects the iPad from minor mechanical damage.
It’s worth noting that Logitech already has the same case for the iPad Pro. The novelty differs from the already existing accessory in minor details. For example, a modified cutout for the camera.
Logitech plans to begin shipping the Folio Touch for iPad Air in October 2020. It will be available on the Logitech website and the Apple Online Store.
