Recall that before that, DanyL from the checkra1n team wrote that they managed to jailbreak iOS 14 back in June, just a couple of days after the first beta version for developers was released. Despite this, DanyL noted that there is still a lot of work to be done. There has been no further news until today. Luca Todesco’s timing is also interesting, as Apple just released iOS 14 publicly.

Note that the hacker was asked to show some kind of proof, to which he replied “soon.”

It is not yet clear what percentage of the iOS 14 jailbreak has been completed. One thing is clear – checkra1n jailbreak is independent of the system, so updating it cannot be fixed. Supports tool iPhone X and older.

If your model is newer than the iPhone X, the iOS 14 jailbreak will not be available anytime soon. We are waiting for news from the Odyssey and unc0ver teams. It is already known that jailbreak iOS 14 is definitely possible.

We will monitor the situation and keep you informed. For now, we would advise you not to update your jailbreak device.
