Mac version of jailbreak utility for iOS 9 released

Several weeks have passed since the release of the jailbreak for iOS 9, and today hackers from the Pangu team have released a Mac version of their utility for jailbreaking Apple’s new mobile operating system.

Thanks to the new utility, owners of Apple computers will be able to jailbreak their iOS devices without using a virtual machine and installing Windows. Pangu for Mac is compatible with OS X Mavericks and above.

Despite the fact that the version number of the utility for Mac is different from the version for the Windows platform, the applications are completely identical. They fixed the main problems that impeded the hacking process, and also added an updated Cydia.

You can learn how to jailbreak a device running iOS 9, iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.0.2 in a separate instruction. You can download the Mac version of the utility on the official website.
