As it became known at the beginning of June, Jonathan Ive, who has been the company's chief designer for 27 years, decided to leave Apple. And now, this news has been confirmed.

In the summer, the exact dates were not known when the last days of Quince in the company would be numbered. Neither the designer nor the company disclosed any information. All that was known was that his departure was planned for the end of the year.

Now, from the Apple website, the profile of the chief design officer has gradually disappeared: first a photo, and then data about it.

Guiding creative ideas, for 27 years, he developed the design of devices: Macbook, iPod, iPhone and iMac. Currently, Jonathan, in the company of his friend Mark Newson, founded the design agency LoveFrom. Apple will be among their customers.

In place of Quince, designers from his team will come: Alan Dai and Evan Hankey. Joni provided a report to Tim Cook (Apple's CEO), and new employees will report to Jeff Williams (COO).
