The Pangu hacker team continues to improve their untethered jailbreak utility for iOS 8 – 8.1 Pangu8. The next version of the utility is released today – Pangu8 1.2.1.
There are no special innovations in Pangu8 1.2.1, the main change is that the utility installs a new version of Cydia 1.1.16 on the device, in which the errors noticed in previous versions have been fixed. However, Mac users are eagerly awaiting Pangu8 for OS X, but Chinese hackers are still delaying its release.
The Pangu team tweeted today that work on the Mac version of Pangu8 is underway and could be released in a couple of days. This would be very nice, since perhaps iOS 8.1.1 will be released in the near future, in which, as you know, Apple has closed the vulnerability used for jailbreak. Hopefully, the Chinese hackers will get past the Mac version of Pangu8 faster than Apple with the final iOS 8.1.1 release.
