On October 5, eight years passed when Steve Jobs died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 56, the day after Apple executives introduced the iPhone 4 at a press conference on the Infinite Loop campus.

As usual, Apple CEO Tim Cook celebrated Jobs' death anniversary on a tweet by sharing a quote from Jobs and his cult cube photo at Apple’s Fifth Avenue retail store in New York.

Apple continues to support its “Remembering Steve” page, which highlights some of the more than one million messages from people from all over the world who “shared their memories, thoughts and feelings about Steve.”
