TinyUmbrella lets you save SHSH from iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2

Not so long ago, the developer of one of the oldest jailbreak utilities called TinyUmbrella presented a new version of the application. Recall that this program allows owners of apple gadgets to save SHSH certificates. They are needed to downgrade the firmware version.

The new version of the utility is compatible with all new devices from Apple – iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2, iPhone 5s, iPad Air, iPad mini 2 and iPad mini 3. As for earlier models, to save the digital certificate to their owners it is better to use an app called iFaith.

As a reminder, to extract SHSH certificates from iPhone or iPad, the device must be jailbroken. Users will also need to download a tweak from Cydia called AFC2 (Apple File Conduit 2).

As mentioned above, thanks to digital certificates, Apple gadget users could downgrade the iOS version even if Apple stopped signing this firmware version.

You can download the new version of TinyUmbrella on the developer’s official website.
